I have worked at AFB for 7 years, starting in Operations before being moving into Sales Support and being promoted to a Sales Development Manager position 2 years ago. I was attracted to the company because, in spite of its size, there is a genuine team-based family feeling in the company. The atmosphere in the department is friendly and relaxed. I really enjoy the days when I get to come into the office. Everyone works hard and pulls together.

In my current role every day is different; I travel to meet clients and work with them on their agenda, adding value and making sure we deliver what they need. There are also lots of opportunities to progress and develop, both in AFB and in the wider group. I have had the opportunity to get involved in lots of different aspects of the business which has helped to enhance my development and personal profile. In the next two years I would like to be move into a Strategic Account Manager role which is the next natural step for me with the business.

To work in AFB you need to be honest, hardworking and want to add value to the business and to clients through team work and relationship building. AFB is a great employer, they are always looking to develop the business and are really open to suggestions and new ideas in areas where there is the potential for improvement.
